V.I.P dogwear Finnmark fabric booties are durable and lightweight sled dog booties for year-round use.

  • thin and durable Cordura fabric bootie (Cordura 500D)
  • suitable for use both in winter and during snow-free seasons
  • the fabric is durable yet flexible Cordura fabric
  • flexible hook-and-loop fastening
  • Durability is always affected by the type of exercise. During steady running (such as with sled dogs), the booties generally last longer than during activities where the dog makes rapid changes in speed and direction. In any case, booties are consumable items.
  • If you notice the end of the hook-and-loop strap becoming fuzzy or frayed during use, cut a new neat edge right away and melt the end closed.

Determining the correct bootie size

Measure the circumference of your dog's paw at its widest point while the dog is standing (so that the paw is bearing weight). Divide this measurement by two and compare it with the width of the booties. Keep in mind that a dog's front paws are often wider than its back paws. When between sizes, choose the larger bootie (the dog's paw needs room to spread as it steps). Tip: if you don't have a flexible measuring tape, use, for example, a piece of string and a regular ruler to measure the circumference of your dog's paw.

Please note that Finnmark is made of non-stretch fabric, so especially with this model, you should definitely choose the larger size when between sizes. With the lightweight fabric bootie, extra width is not a problem.
