General information

Traildog.fi is a 100% Finnish online store, where products are sold by Traildog Oy, Business ID 3253923-8 (hereafter Traildog). By ordering from Traildog.fi online store, the customer agrees to these terms. 

Delivery terms in brief

SHIPPING COSTS
We offer free delivery* for orders over €100 in Finland, and over €150 in other EU countries.

Shipping costs for orders under €100 start from €4.90.

DELIVERY TIME
You can see our stock balance on each product's product page. Orders containing products immediately available in stock are normally shipped no later than the next business day. Orders placed before 12 noon on a business day usually make it to transport the same day.

The estimated delivery time for out-of-stock items is generally 1-2 weeks unless otherwise stated. We will send the order in one shipment when all products in the order are ready for dispatch. If there is an unusual delay in shipping the order, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

EXCHANGE AND RETURN
You have a 14-day exchange and return right from the receipt of your order.

No return package fee is charged for exchanges within Finland. For returns from Finland, a return package fee of €4.90 will be deducted from the refund (excluding extra large packages such as scooters, for which the customer is responsible for the actual return shipping cost). Ordering

Ordering products is done by selecting items into the shopping cart in the online store. Before payment, check that the colors, sizes, and quantities of the products you have chosen are correct. Carefully enter your address details on the checkout page. Shipping costs included in the order are shown on the store's checkout page alongside the delivery method and in the order summary. The chosen delivery method and order contents affect the shipping costs. Once the order and payment transaction have been completed, you will immediately receive an automatic order confirmation by email. 

Deliveries 

At the online store checkout, you can choose your preferred delivery method based on the contents of your shopping cart. In Finland, Posti and Postnord transport services are available. 

Shipping costs in Finland

  • Delivery to mailbox €5.50
    Only for packages under 3 cm in height.

  • Delivery to pickup point/local store starting from €4.90
    *Free for orders over €100, excluding extra large packages

  • Delivery to your door starting from €9.90 

Selection of delivery method, pickup point, and carrier

You can choose the most convenient pickup point for you on the checkout page. The checkout page suggests pickup points closest to you based on the entered postal code. Depending on the carrier's congestion situation, it is possible that your package will be redirected to an alternative pickup point. Traildog cannot influence these changes and is not responsible for any changes made by the carrier to the pickup point or any costs arising from them.

Traildog reserves the right in exceptional cases to change the carrier or delivery method if it is necessary for logistical reasons (for example, product size vs. service restrictions or products located in different warehouses).

Please note that, for example, Posti's Small Package delivery may automatically change to pickup point collection without additional cost if the package does not actually fit through the mailbox for delivery. 

If there is a need to correct the delivery details of the package after the order has been processed (for example, due to an incorrect delivery address), the customer is responsible for any change service fee charged by the carrier.

 

Deliveries abroad

We also deliver packages outside Finland. You can see the exact shipping cost for each country on the checkout page. Please contact our customer service if the checkout page does not offer a delivery method to your country. Return packages from abroad are at the customer's own expense.


Delivery time

You can see our stock balance on each product's page. If you order products that are in stock, we aim to pack orders so that they are handed over to the carrier no later than the next business day after the order. Orders placed before 12 noon on a business day usually make it to the carrier the same day. 

The estimated delivery time for out-of-stock items is generally 1-2 weeks unless otherwise stated on the product page. We will send the order in one shipment when all products in the order are ready for dispatch. You can make a so-called partial delivery by placing two separate orders. 

If the estimated delivery time of the products deviates from the normal, we will contact the customer as soon as possible by email or phone.

Traildog reserves the right to cancel a customer's order if the manufacturer/supplier is unable to deliver the product(s) within a reasonable time.

Payment methods

You can pay for your purchases with all domestic online banks, payment cards, mobile payments (MobilePay and Pivo), as well as Walleys and OP Invoice's invoice and installment options (OP Invoice only for purchases over €50). The payment intermediary for Traildog.fi online store is the Finnish Paytrail. Additionally, you can choose Klarna Invoice and Installments. You can review Klarna's payment terms at: https://www.klarna.com/fi/ehdot/.

  • Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) cooperates with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on your bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to Traildog Oy.

  • Klarna Bank AB (Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) offers a free and interest-free 30-day invoice option from the delivery of products. Klarna also offers installment payment options.

Right of exchange and return

You have a 14-day right to exchange and return from the receipt of your order. You have the right to open the package to check and try the products, but the products must be returned in their original condition, with tags attached. The product must be unused.

  • If you want to exchange or return products, notify us in advance informally by email to info@traildog.fi within 14 days of receiving the package.
  • The return package must be handed over to the carrier without delay, but no later than 14 days after sending the return notification. If this deadline is not met, Traildog reserves the right to deduct the actual shipping and return package costs incurred from the refundable amount to the customer and to credit the remaining balance in the form of a gift card.
  • If the returned product is not in a condition equivalent to brand new (e.g., dirt from the dog's fur), Traildog reserves the right to deduct a case-specific depreciation/cleaning fee from the refundable amount.

Exchanging

Exchanges are made with a new order, so you can place a new order for new products as usual. In the case of an exchange, we do not charge a return package fee in Finland (applies to one return package delivered by Posti). An exchange situation is considered a new online order for a product in the same product category that the customer has made before the return package has been received and whose products the customer keeps. The exchange order may also include other products. 

Return from Finland

You can use our contract number for returns in Finland (which you will receive in your email after making the return notification), and the shipping cost of 4.90 €** for the return package will be deducted from the refundable amount. The person returning the package must keep the tracking number given by the shipping company for the return package until Traildog has confirmed receipt of the package to the customer. 

  • If the original order amount exceeded the free delivery threshold (€100) but falls below €100 after the return, we will deduct the delivery costs according to the delivery method chosen by the customer from the refundable amount.
  • If the customer has chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest offered option for their order and returns the entire order, the original delivery costs will be refunded according to the cheapest available option.

**NOTE: Our return authorization cannot be used to return large items such as kick sleds or kickbikes. The customer is responsible for any possible return costs for these, except in warranty cases. The return method for these must always be agreed upon in advance by email at info@traildog.fi.


Refund

We will refund returned products no later than 14 days after the return package has been recorded as received. The refund will be made using the same payment method as the order was placed with.


Non-collected package / undelivered package

An uncollected package is not a cancellation notice. For orders returned due to non-collection, we will refund the price of the products minus a 10 euro handling fee and the actual round-trip delivery and return costs of the order.

If delivery of the package is not possible due to incorrect/incomplete delivery information provided by the customer and the package is returned to our warehouse for this reason, we will refund the price of the products minus a 10 euro handling fee and the actual round-trip delivery and return costs of the order.


Incorrect product or delivery

The customer must check the external condition of the package upon receipt. If the package has been damaged during transport, the customer must document the damages, for example with photos, and promptly report it to the transport company or the staff at the pickup point if possible.

The customer must also check the contents of the package immediately to ensure that the delivery matches the order and the packing list and that the products are free of defects.

If deficiencies, errors, or transport damages are found in the delivery, the customer must notify the seller by email. immediately, no later than two (2) days after receiving the package. The notification must include sufficient information to assess the error, such as the order number and, if necessary, photos.

If the return or exchange is due to a packing error made by the seller or a defect in the product itself, the seller is responsible for the return package's postage and the delivery costs of the new package. If the customer receives the wrong or defective product, they must notify customer service immediately: info@traildog.fi.

If a customer unnecessarily complains about a product, i.e., no defect is found in the product, the customer is responsible for the costs of returning the product and sending a new one. Traildog commits to storing the product for a maximum of 30 days, so the customer must pay the shipping invoice within this time limit.

Pricing

Product prices are shown in the online store next to each product. Traildog Oy reserves the right to cancel/change orders in case of clear pricing errors. A clear pricing error means a situation where the price shown in the online store differs significantly from the correct price of the product: e.g., a product priced at 0 € or a clear decimal error (e.g., 14.90 € instead of the actual value of 149.00 €). 

General campaign terms

If a customer has ordered products from a campaign (e.g., "buy X, get benefit Y") and returns part of the products, the campaign benefit expires and the retained products become regular priced. This price change will be taken into account when issuing a refund.

Force majeure, superior obstacle

Traildog Oy is not responsible for delays or indirect damages caused by obstacles beyond its control. Force majeure may include, for example, product shortages from the manufacturer and disruptions in freight transport or online services. 

Right to limit sales / cancel orders

Traildog reserves the right to cancel an order or limit sales if necessary, for example in exceptionally large product batches. In such a case, any payment will be refunded to the customer within 7 business days.

Changing the terms

Traildog reserves the right to change its delivery terms at any time. You can see the most recent update time at the bottom of this page. Changes to terms apply to orders placed after the update date.
