Ruffwear Web Master™ Dog Harness

Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness - A Secure Harness for Hiking and Everyday Use

Ruffwear Web Master harnesses are especially popular among hikers, active dogs, search-and-rescue dogs, and rescue dogs. The sturdy back handle makes it easy to assist your dog in challenging terrain, and the harness design prevents the dog from backing out of it.

Web Master harnesses are excellent for hikes, uneven terrain, and dogs that need more support than usual when outdoors. They are also a good option for aging dogs, dogs recovering from an injury or illness, and timid or nervous dogs that tend to struggle free from ordinary harnesses.

Support and safety in challenging situations

An important feature of the Web Master harness is the adjustable belly strap that runs behind the rib cage. When adjusted correctly, it helps prevent the dog from backing out of the harness. This is particularly useful with rescue dogs and other dogs prone to escaping, when the outdoor environment or new situations may cause anxiety.

The sturdy back handle allows you to assist your dog over rocks, fallen trees, and other obstacles, or when getting into a car. The handle also provides a good grip when you need to keep your dog close during encounters with other dogs or people. When lifting your dog, support its weight from elsewhere as well, depending on the situation, so that the load is distributed safely.

The chest and belly straps are padded, and the harness's multiple adjustment points help you find a comfortable fit for your dog.

Web Master or Flagline?

If you are looking for a lighter alternative to the Web Master harness, also check out the Ruffwear Flagline harness. The Flagline harness has a continuous chest-and-belly panel and is well suited to situations where you value a lighter design and easy handling.

Choosing the right Ruffwear Web Master harness size

Choose the size primarily according to your dog's chest girth. Measure the chest at its widest point. The harness should fit securely, but it must not restrict your dog's movement or breathing.

If your dog's measurement falls between two sizes, it is usually worth trying the smaller size with the Ruffwear Web Master harness, provided it is not too tight and there is enough adjustment range.
